Ahh..romance and relationships! This topic gets hotter and hotter whenever kids hit puberty and find themselves flungg into the scary yet fun teenage-world.
I have even more guy friends than girl friends, so we talk- yes, talk! about lots of stuff like THIS. I'm surprised to find that actually guys WONDER what girls want, what girls see in guys! Just as "requested", I'll make a checklist just for fun. These are based upon most girls' viewpoints, and of course: my own! *wink*
PS: Many "starters" think that relationships don't have requirements, just as long as "I love you and you love me". This is ridiculous, once you have entered Stage Two and face almost-like-married problems, things will be different.
Men-Eligibility 101
Thou should:
1.Have good sense of humour (Fun!)
2.Do not smoke (Bad breathe!)
3.Spontaneous (Girls like surprises. Don't be boring!)
4.Be matured(We want someone to rely on, not to babysit)
5.Loving, but not needy.
6.Respects religions.(It shows that you are actually mature, wise and DECENT)
7.Kind to animals, old people and the needy.
8.View education as something important.(The key to proper conversation, and jobs)
9.Be a man with a plan.(Have an ambition, plan ahead, it's Attractive :) )
10.Be good with words. (Not SWEET TALK, but know what to say at the right time.)
11.Has an interest in music. (Who wouldn't like to be serenaded?)
12.Does not swear rudely/excessive/in public. (It's embarrasing)
13.Is not a male chauvinist pig. (UGH!)
14.Does not view women as a weaker sex.(R-E-S-P-E-C-T!)
15.Is nice to his mom and sisters. (It has a reassuring effect)
16.Is open enough to talk about his own FEELINGS and EMOTIONS.
17.Remembers to phone, after saying "I'll call you" (Girls DO wait by the phone)
18.Does not freak out by The Questions. (Do you love me? Am i fat? Tell me how you feel?)
19.DOES NOT SHAKE LEGS (stability is important.)
20.Is responsible and does not run away from problems. (Sense of security)
21.Never pretentious.
22.Considers partner's feelings
23.Not a slob.
24.Can be cuddly and cute
25.Admits his own mistakes
26.Is open to being corrected
27.Not being over-righteous-come on, it's okay to like sex.
28.Not view women merely as sex objects ;)
29.Sensitive about mood changes (females are PMS-ey)
30.Is able to make up his mind.
31.Able to make good conversation.
32.Knows how to smile and laugh.
33.Doesn't play games 24/7.
34.Play hard, work hard.
35.Is not obsessed over his looks.
36.Bothers to take care of self-appearance. :)
37.Not act gross: Farts, smashed frogs and spitballs are NOT funny.
38.Not over-possessive
39.Has manners and etiques.
40.Has self confidence, yet not COcky.
*Note that i did not add in "Handsome" or "good to look at" in the list. This is only in Stage 1, it doesn't last. AFter all, it's the HEART that matters MOST.
Now i'd like to know about what guys find interesting? Feedback please!

The Mother In Law Checklist (in search of perfect daughter in laws):
1. Thou must be gentle and sedate
2. Thou shalt not have higher occupation than husband
3. Thou shall cook three meals
4. Thou shall lay eggs and babies
5. Thou must be polite to parent in laws
6. Thou must be supportive and never find fault with husband
7. Thou should be thrifty, yet well-groomed.
8. Thou shall not converse with OTHER men for more than 6.9 seconds.
9. Thou shall clean the house and tidy the bed.
10.Thou shall not compare thy husband with other men.
Wahahhaa, this was fun.

Just a little reminder.
I give up on relationships, it is fun: But meaningless. Not universal, still tinges of selfishness here and there. Not comfortable with it.
But hey, if there's a guy who fulfills the entire checklist, heck, maybe i might consider. *WINK*

You said you might consider a boy if he fulfills the requirements you stated. Since you said you might consider me does that mean i fulfill all requirement? (Reverse Effect Reasoning)...? LOL!

I would be very happy if that "Someone" is you. :-) But reality is reality, the impossible will never happen even if I bet my life on it, no matter what, gotta face it. Needless to say, the list is pretty tough to fulfill, because of these things that I still couldn't change:
1. I have nearly no sense of humour.
2. I am an atheist, trying to believe in some religion but I couldn't.
3. My social skills smell like stinky garlics left to rot for weeks. So instead of attracting you, I'd find myself repelling you, and everybody around me.
4. I have no talent for music. Trying to learn, but due to my pico-sized brain, I still couldn't grasp on to anything I came across.
5. I am a boring guy. People who interact with me even for just a while always find themselves dozing off in mid-air.
6. My looks are unsightly, not to mention "cute and cuddly" -.-', from the day I was born, I never cared about my appearance.
7. I am unable to make good conversation and I still don't smile that much.
8. Lack of self-confidence, especially when I'm talking to people.
9. I think I am evil.
plus all the crime I comitted in the past, with all the facts mentioned above that could take up to a few years, or many more, for me to change them. And even if I do change, it'll take an additional amount of years, maybe an additional tens of years to be forgiven.
So, basically, it means, be rest assured that there's no way that "Someone" could be you. I will always remain loyal though, and I won't give up.
And hey, if that "Someone" couldn't be you, it won't be anybody. After all, life's short. No point wasting all the precious time grieving, and dreaming a hopeless dream.
So, please don't be sarcastic by saying "Someone will appreciate your effort" and then followed by a "頑張" (kanbate) to me while knowing all this.
I failed, and I'm accepting my life's punishment. Have to enjoy it!!! ^_^ V

Sometimes, there IS someone out there who will appreciate your effort,ranmaru. And to let that chance slip by giving excuses is a waste.

huh? what's the point of improving my points man? by the time i improved myself everything will be too late...it's always like that...then again...can't be happy then dun really hv to be happy...life won't end when someone is unhappy right? thus it's not really a necessity...anything which is not necessary is not really needed...
btw, nic, ermm how do you handle mosquitoes? there are so many here, i can't concentrate on my stuff....my whole body itches...sigh...
